A global conscious cinema movement: Illuminate. This word will now be connected in my mind to the Illuminate Film Festival. I journey into the face of loving kindness, both on the physical cinema screen and in the eyes of hundreds of attendees, their smiles and gratitude filling Sedona with aesthetic and commercial success. My personal experience involved only four films out of the 22 shown, but I was moved by each and every one of them. My favorite was "When My Sorrow Died", which featured Theramin playing genius Armen Ra. He did a performance on the Theramin after the screening, and had everyone literally falling in love with him. It was a true "Happening" in the biggest sense of the word. I have several healing sessions at the Healing Village at the Creative Life Center, and was served by each and every one of them. Spectacular food from the ChocolaTree eatery capped the whole thing off. Love, Love, Love, is my word to describe my experience at this inaugural event, the Illuminate Film Festival.

-Tony Carito, Sedona, AZ

Enlightening. It's a word that very much describes our experience at the Illuminate Film Festival in Sedona, AZ. As filmmakers, we were particularly grateful to spend time with the panel of experts at the filmmaker convergence. When it comes to production, marketing and distribution, it's a brave new world for filmmakers who have birthed their babies and are looking for ways to get them into the world to reach their audience. We were particularly encouraged by those filmmakers on the panel who are choosing a "do-it-yourself" distribution model and having success with it as that is the road we find ourselves on. The insight we gained into the various uses of crowd funding was invaluable. We plan to make "Illuminate" our must experience festival every year.

-Shaeri Richards & Jerry Hartleben, Mother Tree Films, Sedona, AZ

Truly affecting lives! What a blessing you are!

-Meri Thomason, Sedona, AZ

The Premier of the 1st Conscious Film Festival in Sedona, AZ has been Amazing. We just finished Deepak Chopra's new film Death Makes Life Possible. The ‪Rejuvenation‬&Performance Institute at Grace Grove is so honored to have been sponsors!

-Puma St. Angel, Founder Grace Grove, Cornville, AZ

I want to encourage my CA clients to come over for next year's Festival. When I see something that I just know is right and has the power to promote change - I'm behind it 100%.

-Adrienne Alamour, Sedona, AZ

What a fabulous idea. I think the world is ready for what you have to offer!! As part of the quickly evolving changes in health care system, brain science will be on the cutting edge of new ways for us to look at health and especially mental health. We are moving more from an" illness model" to one of understanding the brain and the heart and the gut as regulatory systems that become dysregulated. So, be on the lookout for films dealing with these fascinating evolutions. I have been working in the arena of Neurofeedback and Heart rate variability in my practice and see it as the themes of the future for mental health practice.
