Follow a group of five friends as they tackle 219 miles of the historic John Muir Trail after one of the biggest snowfalls in history, while lugging many extra pounds of cameras intended to capture the trail's ethereal beauty. A humorous and visually masterful film about hiking, adventure-seeking, laughter, and finding inspiration in the great outdoors: California's Sierra Mountains. Along the way, they're joined by a soulful group of musicians, painters, teachers & other adventure-seekers. In the midst of the grandeur & grueling days, they discover that what matters most is the opportunity to seek inspiration & adventure at every turn with friends.  Audiences will gasp at the epic cinematography through gorgeous vistas of California's Sierra Mountains, heavenly lakes, and rugged terrain. Inspired by the emotional power of human connectedness and humanity's personal relationship with the land, movie-goers will embark together on a MILE...MILE & A HALF hike on Sedona's Centennial Trail with musicians, artists, healers, and a Native American Spiritual Emissary who will offer joyful musical celebrations and ceremonies along the route.

Includes a celebration and tribute to members of Greater Sedona organizations that nurture arts and culture. Co-presented by the Sedona Culture Collaborative, Sedona PhotoFest, Sedona Bluegrass Festival, Sedona Performing Arts Alliance, and Chamber Music Ballet.
