Her medical options exhausted, Angelina travels from North America to the Amazon in search of a miracle. Set in an Ayahuasca retreat center in Peru and featuring real-life indigenous shamans, Icaros: A Vision, is a story about fear and the release from fear. As Angelina confronts her illness and possible death, she must also confront her fear of life and living. Underpinning all is the view that the tremendous healing power of plants is the best way to ensure the jeopardized future of the Amazon.
